I built my business on integrity, so when it comes to making sure everybody gets paid, it’s never an issue. Q: What has made you so successful over the past three decades?Ī: My reputation has always been good with people I work with. So I would book big name artists and do concerts for the airmen, usually hour-long shows. Q: What type of music events were you doing at that time?Ī: I’ve done events all over but one was a government contract. I did the regional events for Def Comedy Jam and Comicview and booked people like Kevin Hart way before anybody knew who he was. I started out booking music acts and concerts then eventually switched over to doing more comedy. Q: How long have you been the entertainment business?Ī: I’ve been in business for more than 30 years, doing events from Philly all the way down to D.C. talked to us about his 30-year history in producing events, what makes a successful promoter and the future of Bubba’s.
